Rangers-White Sox rained out, to resume in Wed. doubleheader

Tuesday's game between the Texas Rangers and host Chicago White Sox was suspended after four pitches and eventually called due to rain.
Rangers leadoff batter Marcus Semien worked a 2-2 count against Chicago starting pitcher Garrett Crochet in the top of the first inning before the game was suspended amid pouring rain.
Now, the teams will reconvene Wednesday at 4:10 p.m. CT for what amounts to a straight doubleheader. The second game will start 30 to 45 minutes after the end of Game 1.
Pitching plans for the doubleheader were not known. Left-hander Andrew Heaney was in line to start for the Rangers on Tuesday.
