Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-Imagn Images Tests confirmed that Arizona Cardinals starting cornerback Starling Thomas V tore his ACL in Friday's practice, ESPN reported Sunday.
Thomas, 25, has started 22 of his 29 games with the Cardinals since going undrafted out of UAB in 2023.
He appeared in all 17 games (15 starts) last season and tallied 47 tackles, six passes defensed and one forced fumble. His career totals include 85 tackles and 11 passes defensed.
His season-ending knee injury is another blow to the Arizona secondary, with cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting placed on the non-football injury list and ruled out for the season in May.
