Spring training roundup: Red Sox rally to top Tigers

Boston right-hander Richard Fitts gave up three runs on six hits in four innings, while left-hander Justin Wilson (1-1) went a scoreless inning. Veteran right-hander Liam Hendriks allowed a run on two hits in the ninth for his first save of the spring
The Tigers' Riley Greene hit his second home run of the spring in the top of the fifth for a 3-2 lead. The Red Sox went up for good in the seventh inning on Roman Anthony's sacrifice fly and Tristan Cassas' RBI single.
Casey Mize's fifth start of the spring for the Tigers wasn't as dominating as his first four but he went 4 2/3 innings, giving up two runs on four hits with four strikeouts and two walks. Detroit left-hander Andrew Chafin (1-1) gave up two runs on three hits in one inning.

Eloy Jimenez and Danny Jansen each hit home runs and Josh Lowe had three hits as Tampa Bay defeated visiting Pittsburgh at Port Charlotte, Fla.
Rays right-hander Zack Littell (1-1) gave up two runs on eight hits over six innings with five strikeouts and no walks to earn the win. Tampa Bay scored three runs in the second inning to take control.
Ji Hwan Bae went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Pirates while raising his spring batting average to .444 (16 for 36). Pittsburgh left-hander Andrew Heaney (0-3) gave up three runs on six hits over 4 1/3 innings with two strikeouts and no walks.

Alec Burleson and Victor Scott II each hit home runs and Lars Nootbaar had two hits with two runs scored as St. Louis scored a run in each of the first five innings and cruised to the victory over visiting Washington at Jupiter, Fla.
Cardinals left-hander Steven Matz (2-0) gave up one on four hits over six innings.
Dylan Crews scored the lone run for the Nationals when he came home on a Matz wild pitch. Washington right-hander Jake Irvin (0-1) was rocked for six runs on 10 hits over 5 2/3 innings.

Jazz Chisholm, Cody Bellinger, Pablo Reyes and Ben Rice all hit home runs as New York grabbed an eight-run lead and held on to defeat Philadelphia at Clearwater, Fla.
Yankees right-hander Marcus Stroman (2-1) went three scoreless innings with three strikeouts and right-hander Cade Austin pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his first save.
Brandon Marsh hit his first home run of the spring for the Phillies, while right-hander Taijuan Walker (1-1) was roughed up for six runs on nine hits over 3 2/3 innings.
