The Nats Are Gone, But Bryce Harper's Taters Are A Joy Forever
The Washington Nationals were bounced from the postseason last night, but not before Bryce Harper did the thing he's been doing all series and murdered one last baseball into the sky.
This isn't a lament that the Nationals didn't advance or Bryce Harper boosterism, it is just an appreciation of dingers. So let's watch some dingers.
Here's Harper's first homer of the series, a solo shot from Game 1 that had me like 0_o
Harper was somehow held without a dinger in Game 2, so during Game 3 he was like, "Whoops, I better get back to hitting the dang life out of baseballs today."
And then came last night, when Harper realized that the only thing better than hitting a big-ass tater is hitting a big-ass tater in a clutch situation:
Thanks for the taters, Bryce.
