It was another week of stability within the top 10 of the Associated Press Top 25 women's college basketball poll, with UConn remaining No. 1 in the country on Monday.

The teams that comprise the top 10 spots remained the same for the fifth consecutive week, and the order of the top seven -- UConn, Texas, South Carolina, UCLA, LSU, Michigan and Maryland -- has not changed since Dec. 1.

One week after Oklahoma surpassed TCU by six votes for No. 8 in the rankings, the teams received identical point totals from the voters (564) and share the eighth spot. Iowa State remained No. 10.

The only new team to join the rankings this week was Texas Tech, which made its debut at No. 21 after improving to 14-0 on Sunday by beating then-No. 15 Baylor 61-60 on the road. Baylor fell seven spots to No. 22.

Washington, previously at No. 22, was the only team to drop out of the rankings this week, three days after taking a 67-62 loss at Stanford.

The next women's Top 25 poll will not be released until Jan. 5.
