Make Your Case To Attend The ESPN Holiday Party
Yesterday, we told you about the lack of hard alcohol at tonight's ESPN Holiday Party. Well, we can do you one better this morning: The official Web site for the party. It's a doozy.
You can find all the information you need about the party. The locale ( The Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, Connecticut), the time (6 p.m. - 11 p.m., though we suspect some folks might be busy with the Mitchell Report business to make it on time), the attire ("holiday chic") and the transportation limitations ("all buses will depart from Aqua Turf at 11 p.m. sharp.").
Even though applications to attend the party are officially "closed," you can still give it a shot. Maybe you can talk the site's administrators into an invite. Never hurts to try! Just know what kind of party you're getting into:
We have planned an exciting, fun evening with good food, entertainment and a selection of soft drinks and beer and wine will be available. Alcoholic beverages will be available for only those 21 years and above and we ask that should you choose to consume alcoholic beverages that you do so responsibly. Alcohol or substance abuse and harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
Yeah, now you tell us.
Anyway, Aqua Turf, Plantsville, Connecticut. Party time. A snowstorm's coming; Clayton-Salisbury snowball fight!
(UPDATE: Don't miss The Sultry Sounds of Lewis Barnes!) Here's Lewis himself:)
