Hannah Storm may have the name of a pro wrestler, but she's a serious germalist. She was the first full-time female sports anchor at CNN and a prominent figure at NBC Sports for a decade before jumping to CBS to host the CBS Early Show. She also told us about injuries in Madden '96, so she's got that gamer cred too. Now, as Richard Deitsch at SI reports, she's making the jump to Bristol.
Storm has been tapped to co-anchor a new morning edition of SportsCenter, with two extended SportsCenter programs to follow hers. That's a lot space to fill with Titletown segments.
Interestingly, the revamped SportsCenters will compete against the ESPN2 morning block of Mike & Mike In the Morning and First Take. Storm is expected to start sometime in the next couple of months.
Yowza. What a tall task to stick her with out of the gate. However can you wrestle viewers away from the prepossessing spectacle of Greenberg & Golic? She had better start coming up with some good jarring catch phrases. Might I suggest "BAH-BLAW! HERE COMES THE STORM!"?

There's got to be a better picture of her.
Femininity:
Mike Greenberg > Hannah Storm
It only makes sense to not run the late-night SC on endless repeat until 2 PM Eastern any more.
Reporting/newsreading:
Hannah Storm > Katie Couric
She looks like one of those fit grandmas from the NutriSystem ads. Or is it Bowflex?
I can never remember.
Too bad Rudy Martzke doesn't write for USA Today anymore - tomorrow he could describe in great detail the big blue veiner he gets watching her on television.
She's not very good. Never has been.
Shoulda just used a picture of Erin
"Hannah Storm has covered four Olympics, three World Series and was the first play-by-play TV announcer for the WNBA in 1997."
*One of these things is not like the other.....
Gentlemen, start your sexual harassment claims.

@Detective Bunk: My money's still on Tirico. & this afternoon, I felt sorry for Ashley Tisdale & Vanessa Hudgens having to be at midcourt, so close to MT. You just know he was popping 'Agra in anticipation of that.
I just hope he warned Hubie Brown before finishing himself during commercial.
It must be a big deal since SI is bringing us the up to date information on the hiring of an ESPN anchor.
