I’m always on the lookout for new sweepstakes casinos, and I discovered VegasBuilder just a few days after its launch in September 2026. Being so early to the party, there weren’t any existing VegasBuilder reviews online – so here’s mine.
I’ve documented my experience of signing up, playing the 680+ casino-style slots and table games, and redeeming real money prizes. There are two different things going on at VegasBuilder, and you’re free to enjoy either, or both. On the one hand, you’ve got nearly 700 casino-style games to enjoy. But there’s also a totally separate city-building game, where you can create your own virtual Vegas.

It’s also worth pointing out that Vegas Coins are often referred to as Sweeps Coins (SC) throughout the site. Even the terms and conditions page is inconsistent on this. Basically, you can treat VC and SC as interchangeable – it’s two ways of saying the same thing.
No. Although most social casinos offer a free-to-play SC equivalent, VegasBuilder takes a different approach. I know the usual schtick is something like Gold Coins for fun, and Sweepstakes Coins for the chance to redeem prizes. However, this platform is much more similar to what I wrote about in my earlier Candy Coins review.
In short, you either play casino-style games in sweepstakes mode, or enjoy a completely separate game – there is no virtual currency that’s “just for fun”. At Candy Coins, this element is replaced by the Battle Arena. But VegasBuilder has Builder Mode as its unique feature, where you develop a mini version of Las Vegas.
Yes, VegasBuilder is a sweepstakes gaming platform that is available in permitted U.S. states. Here, you don’t use real money to play; instead, you can get virtual currency for free, and if you meet the requirements, you can redeem Vegas Coins (VC) for eligible prizes. The site also uses security measures to help protect players’ personal information and data.
Although VegasBuilder offers casino-style games, the main focus of the platform is the city-building feature. All of the free Builder Spins you collect every day, or purchase voluntarily from the store, are used on this part of the site.

It’s pretty easy to find the games you’re looking for, thanks to a well-organized lobby. It’s split into helpful categories, like “New Games”, “Live Dealer”, or “Hold & Win”, plus there’s a handy search facility.
After signing up, you’ll see a pop-up notifying you about a jackpot feature. Unusually, VegasBuilder automatically enters you into its progressive jackpot game immediately, and it’s up to you whether or not you want to opt out.
If you wish to take part, you’ll pay an extra 0.1 SC per spin, which is shared among three different prize pools. These can trigger randomly at any time, as long as you’ve opted into the jackpot game.

There are two ways to get hold of Builder Spins: promotions and purchases. The latter is an optional feature – as a sweepstakes gaming platform, there’s never any obligation to spend real money. You can always just wait for the next bonus to come along and play for free.
You can never buy Vegas Coins, though. Some of the Builder Spins packages for sale in the store might include a few VC as a thank you for making a purchase. But you cannot purchase them directly.

However, that’s not the only VegasBuilder bonus – you’ll find all kinds of ongoing promotions to help keep your virtual currency balances topped up.
The VegasBuilder Wheel, for example, is a daily bonus game, offering rewards that range from 0.05 to 0.5 free SC. You’ll also receive 20 free Builder Spins every day.
Like most sweepstakes casinos, you can claim a mail-in entry. Here, it’s 2.5 free SC for each valid application. It’s also worth checking the Facebook, X and Instagram channels – I’ve already seen them promoting prize drops, for example. They sometimes hand out freebies for interacting with posts, too.
Finally, there’s a referral program that promises 200 BS and 20 free SC for each new recruit. This is a good deal – it certainly beats the 5 free SC reward I described in my LuckyBuddha review. Be aware that the referral must spend at least $19.99 on BS purchases before the bonus is issued.
Although Builder Spins are only for developing your city, Vegas Coins can be used to play casino-style games. And if you do that, it’s obviously possible to win more. Acquire at least 100 VC and you become eligible for a prize redemption – as long as you’ve met the 1x playthrough requirement, that is.
I have mixed feelings about this. My initial reaction is that the minimum redemption limit is high. I discussed a similar 100 SC limit for cash redemptions in my Jolly Sweeps review, but that platform also offers gift card rewards for just 50 SC. Some other platforms allow you to redeem just 25 SC.
On the other hand, VegasBuilder guarantees one-hour redemption times. That’s extremely fast, and it’s a real thing. I haven’t managed to accumulate enough VC to test it myself, but there are several legit comments on Trustpilot to back this claim up.
