Colts Won't Chuck Pagano, After All

It was just last Thursday when ESPN reported the Indianapolis Colts were going to fire head coach Chuck Pagano after Sunday’s game. Other plugged in reporters assumed this was going to happen, and began looking at who would replace Pagano. So imagine everybody’s surprise when the Colts announced that they had signed Pagano to an extension!

Colts owner Jim Irsay has been known to make curious decisions while in altered states of mind, so who’s to say this isn’t one of them? Reading the reporting on how this (apparent) turnaround came about— here’s a good theory—should be fun.
