Braylon Edwards May Have Worn Out His Welcome In Cleveland
Cleveland is awful and their offense hasn't scored in 16 quarters, but everyone just stay calm. You don't hear Braylon Edwards crying about it.
He even caught five passes for 100+ yards on Monday night. Yet, the guy still heard boos during the Browns' 20-point loss. What gives?
I could care less about fans, media, people talking about trading me and the B.S. that's going on with our team and the season. I've got a job to do. My job is to catch the football.
Is your job also to lead the league in drops, because that seems to be the root of a lot of the displeasure. Or maybe it's something else?
I've learned being here that I'm very unappreciated. Not in the organization, just in the eyes of the fans, the city. Since Day One I've been a marked man coming from Michigan. It's just gone that way. Even when things are good, there's heckles.
Huh? Oh, because you're in Ohio and you went to Michigan, your own fans want you to fail? I can see that. But the important thing is that you had fun, right?
Right now I'm having fun. We didn't win the game, but when I was out there I was lining up, I was having fun running routes and getting open, talking a little jibber-jabber back and forth and catching the ball.
Jibber-jabber? Ok, now I just pity the fool.
