Chris McKendry Catches Reefer Madness
I'm not sure what exactly about Corie Blount's legal troubles gave SportsCenter's Chris McKendry a case of the giggles today, but maybe she just needs to mellow out and have some Doritos or something.
Blount, as you may have heard, was given a one-year prison sentence today after pleading guilty to two felony counts of marijuana possession. The judge rejected his dubious claim that the 30 or so pounds of hashish that was mailed to him was probably more than enough for just one person's recreational use, saying at the sentencing "Cheech and Chong would have had a hard time smoking that much." Ok, that's sort of funny; as is the apropos pronunciation of the former Cincy Bearcat's name, but Chris is supposed to be a professional. She needs to keeps it together for at least a little while longer ... I believe her shift ends around 20 minutes after four o'clock?
