Big-Bosomed Tennis Player Urged By Larger-Bosomed Volleyball Player Not To Deflate
The ongoing mini-saga of Romanian tennis star Simona Halep's decision to have breast reduction surgery has finally found one vocal female protester. Meet Alena Schurkova, a 32E-sized professional volleyball player who has gone public with her outcry.
"If she does this it sends out the message that girls with big boobs can't play sports and that is just wrong. I am 32E and I have never found them to be a problem," the 42-year-old Schurkova told The Daily Sun.
Actually Schurkova claims that if Halep does have the surgery the post-op rehab could produce a slower, less mobile player only with smaller breasts. Her suggestions? A quality sports bra, and some weird stretching exercises. Also, Schurkova gets all Sisterhood-of-the-Traveling-Pants on Halep, suggesting that if she does follow through with this "it sends out the message that girls with big boobs can't play sports and that is just wrong."
Halep is currently ranked...317th. ****** Thank you for your continued support of Deadspin. JC posin'.
