Party Down Canceled, Comedy Nerds Crestfallen
Party Down, the extremely funny Starz program that serves as the anti-Entourage, has been canceled after two mildly successful seasons. But fear not, fans, you still have your precious Freaks & Geeks boxed sets to sob into softly.
If you aren't familiar, Party Down was a show (that mentioned us once!) about the titular catering company, featured a talented comedic cast, tight writing, and Steve Guttenberg. However, the show was often as depressing as it was hilarious, which may have been the reason for its cancellation. That and most of the cast was moving on. The whole series is on Netflix — if you're interested in watching a TV show that I think is funny and good.
