Spider-Man 2: Yet Another Japanese Outfielder Makes Incredible Catch
Mere weeks after introducing the world to the original Spider-Man's home run saving grab, it happens again. Same ballpark, same teams, same pitcher on the mound.
Once again it's the Hiroshima Toyo Carp robbing the Yokohama BayStars, and preserving pitcher Saitou Yuki's ERA. But it's a different center fielder this time. (The Japanese PTI must've been ripping the manager for not starting Masato Akamatsu after his grab three weeks ago. I guess it worked out okay.)
We can't help but wonder if that bizarre ledge on the outfield wall was designed for catches like these, and NPB generates most of its income from YouTube views.
