SportsCenter First Is A Milestone For Attractive, Well-Dressed Female Journalists
At noon today, two female SportsCenter anchors handed the baton off to two other women, a first in the show's long history. Truly this is a monumental day in the long struggle for women's rights.
"I think we've got a little history going here, today," said Hannah Storm, with decades in the business under her belt, which was a little gold number matching her knee-length lamé skirt.
Indeed, Storm and co-anchor Linda Cohn ending their three-hour SportsCenter and turning it over to Chris McKendry and Sage Steele was the first time since the show started in 1979 that four women had ever been involved in that transition. And the women couldn't have been more excited about it.
"Never in my 18 years here have there been back-to-back sets of women anchors hosting SportsCenter," said Cohn, wearing a patterned cinched waist dress that threw her sandy hair into starker relief.
"Well done by us!" joked Storm, the top three buttons on her blouse undone, putting a saucy twist on an outfit that oozes professionalism.
With that, McKendry and Steele transitioned right into the day's news.
"Very happy to take the baton," McKendry exclaimed, half of her sleeveless sweater dress hidden by the anchor desk, but the cowl neck accentuating her supple breasts.
"SportsCenter continues, live!" added Sage Steele, whom I'd nail so hard, whoever could pull me out would be named King of England.
