Your College Football Early Games Open Thread

Kansas State at Missouri is the ranked marquee game, no doubt, but there's apparently pride on the line when Mississippi and Tennessee do battle and hate brewing between Northwestern and Iowa. Here's more:

• The last home game of Illinois' season — it's against Minnesota — is a chance to get bowl bidded.

• For those of you who care about Big East Football — I know, right? — Cincinnati at West Virginia is at least moderately intriguing for the early-game time slot.

• This week marked the first time UCF has ever been ranked in the college-football polls. This first-time ranking will probably expire by mid-afternoon.

• As with every week, I'll be watching Kent State with fingers crossed for some hurt. Go Army.

• And finally, I really don't care to know what Lee Corso does in his spare time, but somebody felt the need to share their brought-to-you-by-Home-Depot thoughts on Gameday. To wit ...
