It's That Time Of Year Again: Let's See Your SHOTY Nominations
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of telestrator dong. It's amazing that it's already time for Sportshuman Of The Year nominations, yet, here we are.
Unlike some past years, when SHOTY would take over this place for a full month, we're only going to have eight nominees this year. (You can probably guess some of the likely "winners.") The voting will begin two weeks from today, with two quarterfinal matchups both Monday the 29th and Tuesday the 30th, semifinals on Wednesday the 1st and Thursday the 2nd, and then the finals over that weekend, with the winner announced Monday, December 6. Let's go over the past winners:
2006: Barbaro. 2007: Isiah Thomas. 2008: Baby Mangino. 2009: Tiger Woods.
So give your nominations in the comments, or email them to me, emeritus, at [email protected]. And we'll see you in a fortnight.
