Here's What Some Are Calling Cricket's Catch Of The Year
England's Monty Panesar, a notably terribly fielder, made an excellent snag. Snazzy, yes, but would it even make Web Gems?
Excellent reflexes, and points added because he made the catch barehanded (though points off because it's not like he had a choice). But doesn't this seem like the kind of thing that happens daily in baseball? Panesar didn't even completely lay out.
Still, he's kind of like the Brooks Conrad of cricket. Any time the ball doesn't deflect off his head for a six is considered a victory.
