SHOTY Semifinals: No. 3 Karen F. Owen Vs. No. 7 The Machine

Our lone upset in the quarterfinals was a big one: The Machine edged out LeBron James, dropping the No. 2 seed. No. 3 Karen F. Owen defied an online sportsbook's odds and sadly took out Dude Being Blown By A Dog. Alas.

As always, it is not about the destination but the journey.

No. 3 Karen F. Owen Penned quite the thesis. Earns potential book deal. (And movie, of course.) Terrified the shit out of all of us.

No. 7 The Machine Emerged from the "brain" of Brian Wilson. Unmasked as Pat Burrell. Dressed up for Halloween. Won World Series. Showed up on Jay Leno, though I still assume that was Andy Richter in disguise.
