Here, Watch Donald Brashear Beat Up A Fat Guy In His MMA Debut
Some fellow named Mathieu Bergeron decided to fight former NHL goon Donald Brashear—who is 15th all-time in penalty minutes, and now making his MMA debut—in Quebec City (au Colisée Pepsi) on Saturday night. Not a good call. Brashear scored a TKO in 21 seconds.
That said, Bergeron—who was the third announced Brashear opponent—has no record and a gut, as you can see above. Worse, he's French Canadian. This was kind of a set-up.
Said Brashear, "Je me suis dit que si j'essayais tout ce que j'avais préparé pour le premier adversaire, en plus de tout ce que j'avais préparé pour le deuxième, et puis ce que j'avais préparé pour celui-ci, j'en ferais assez pour le battre."
Our only hope is that someday Marty McSorley will get so desperate for loonies that he, too, will have to get pounded by Brashear in the ring. That we'd watch.
