For Some Reason, You Can Fly From New York To Newark For Saturday's Devils-Rangers Game
Actually, that "some reason" is pretty obvious: free publicity for Delta, which is offering Rangers fans a free flight Saturday morning from LaGuardia to Newark Liberty International. Here's hoping no one takes them up on their stupid offer, because really, who cares about free when you have to deal with the hassle of getting to an airport and going through security when you don't even get to fly somewhere fun?
The flight time is scheduled as 17 minutes, but the the whole ordeal will take about three hours. The alternative is a 20-minute train ride that basically takes you from underneath MSG to the Prudential Center's doorstep.
Even if they don't fly in, expect Rangers fans to show up in force, Operation No Blue notwithstanding. SeatGeek shared some numbers from the secondary market with us, and more tickets for games 3 and 4 are being resold to fans in New York than New Jersey.
