Found: One University Of Kentucky Prosthetic Leg
OK. So. We have here a prosthetic leg emblazoned with the University of Kentucky Wildcats logo. The leg was pulled in by a shrimping boat in Florida. It appears to be a right leg. Guessing from the footwear I am assuming it belonged to a male, outdoorsy type. Of course, it is possible that it's a female, but we don't have time to waste. Decisions must be made if we are to help reunite man and prosthetic.
What we need to do now is find a one-legged Kentucky superfan and, this is the most important part, he must not have a right leg. Also be on the lookout for no-legged Kentucky superfans just in case. Maybe this is one in a Kentucky Wildcats prosthetic legs set.
Easier said than done? Maybe, but he could not have gotten far.
Have you seen this leg?
Update 1:00 p.m.: You guys work fast. He's been found.
WKYT-TV in Lexington reports that it belonged to Fred Robinson, who played on the school's football team in the 1980s and had lost his leg in a work accident five years ago.
Robinson says he was shocked to find out someone found his $30,000 prosthetic leg.
Robinson, who now lives in Florida, says he lost the prosthetic while swimming over the Memorial Day weekend.
