Here Is The Mug Shot From Marshawn Lynch's DUI Arrest
The news has been making the rounds since it first got out late last night, but the San Jose Mercury News has the details on the arrest of the Seahawks running back, which happened early Saturday morning in Oakland, Calif.
The newspaper's report says the van Lynch was driving was observed to be "weaving across traffic lanes" by a California Highway Patrol officer on northbound Interstate 880 around 3:20 a.m.:
Lynch's blood alcohol level was over the .08 percent legal limit, Morgan said, but the CHP is prohibited from releasing the specific level while the investigation is active.
Lynch, 26, had attended a bowling event in Albany Friday night and managed to make a scheduled appearance the following morning at a football camp held at his former high school in Oakland, both events organized by a Bay Area charity Lynch cofounded in 2006, according to a spokeswoman for the charity.
Lynch reportedly cooperated with police. He previously had his license revoked after pleading guilty for "failing to exercise due care toward a pedestrian," and in 2009 the NFL suspended him three games after he pled guilty to a misdemeanor weapons charge. There's nothing to indicate whether the van he was driving Saturday morning was painted to look like a candy-colored rainbow.
