"Those Guys Are Fucking Animals," And Other Fun Moments From Darko Milicic's Media Day

The Celtics officially announced the signing of Darko Milicic during today's media day, and Darko immediately demonstrated his ability to play the role of over-the-hill-veteran-who-doesn't-give-a-fuck-anymore with aplomb.

WEEI's Ben Rohrbach caught some quotes from Darko, the first being rather depressing:

Petraglia also caught a picture of a noticeably chunky Darko sporting his brand new No. 99 jersey that will only ever be worn ironically by Celtics fans.

SBNation's Gethin Coolbaugh took a picture of Darko standing in the corner of the gym. Getting ready for a radio interview, or sulking? Probably sulking.

And so begins Darko's season as the Serbian Scalabrine. We can, however, expect to see at least one abnormal display of garbage-time effort during a game, at which point Tommy Heinsohn will dub Darko as the European version of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
