After 22,987 Minutes Of Unemployment, 6,899 Minutes Of Employment, And Another 15,659 Minutes Of Unemployment, Rob Ryan Has Signed On With The Saints
Initial firing confirmed at 4:54 p.m., Jan. 8:
Hiring, by the Rams, confirmed on Jan. 24 at 4:01 p.m. Subsequent firing reported and confirmed five days later, at 11 a.m. on January 29th. That brings us to now, some 10 days and change after the second firing, with Jay Glazer reporting that Rob Ryan is officially the Saints' defensive coordinator:
If you take Rob Ryan's original statement as being about how long he would be unemployed during the entire NFL offseason, he missed the mark by about 38,641 minutes. He was probably pretty liquored up when he made that estimate though, so let's not split hairs.
