A Seahawks 747 Is Currently Flying A Giant "12" Over Washington State
Here is a flight tracker for Boeing flight #12, tracing a massive "12" over the skies of Washington as we speak. This is actually happening.
It's a special 747-8 freighter, unveiled earlier this week and decked out with custom Seahawks livery. Today is its maiden voyage, and after taking off from Boeing Field south of Seattle, it's currently over the eastern part of the state, its flight path drawing 150-mile-tall numerals as a tribute to the team's fans.
Update: Since people are bitching, I figured I'd clarify that this isn't wasting money or unnecessarily melting the ice caps. New planes need test flights, and this one happens to be in the shape of a 12. It's not the weirdest flight path Boeing has filed.
