Drexel Lacrosse Scores Three Goals In 11.3 Seconds On Penn
Who's ready for some college lacrosse highlights? You're ready for some college lacrosse highlights.
In the first round of the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament, Drexel turned a 6-4 deficit into a 7-6 lead in just 11.3 seconds. The Dragons' Jules Raucci scored with 17.7 seconds left in the second quarter to cut fourth-ranked Penn's lead to one. On the following faceoff, Nick Saputo won and bounded down the field to earn his second goal of the game and knot it at six.
Drexel still had more scoring in them before half. Saputo basically replicated the goal he had scored seconds earlier, winning the faceoff and whipping it in for a 7-6 lead and a hat trick in two quarters. The craziest part: Before today's game, Saputo had scored three goals all season.
