Dwyane Wade And Chris Bosh Opt Out Of Contracts
The shell of Dwyane Wade has opted out of the remaining two years and 41 million dollars on his contract in hopes of signing with the same team for less money. Wade is looking instead to spread 60 million over four years. Chris Bosh has also opted out of his remaining $42 million, and is reportedly also willing to play for $15 million a year.
Wade and Bosh join LeBron in (probably) doing the Heat a real solid in letting Miami sign them at a discounted rate. All three members of the Big Three reportedly met last week to discuss how they will go forward and it looks like they've agreed to all take a paycut for the greater good in Miami. If that's the case, then all is going according to plan to reboot the Big Three as the Big Four.
There was also a zany rumor swirling around that Bosh was going to opt out and return to Toronto, while the Raptors worked on a sign and trade that would send Kyle Lowry to the Heat. Ric Bucher eventually walked that one back, blaming his source for setting him up with false information.
