Fart Interrupts Snooker World Championship Semifinal
Ronnie O'Sullivan is en route to his fifth snooker world championship title, but his win over Judd Trump in the semifinal was a real stinker.
A spectator at Friday's match at The Crucible in Sheffield suffered from severe flatulence, interrupting Trump and causing quite a row in the facility playing host to the sport's premier tournament. Lest you think snooker a niche sport, the World Championship carries a purse of over a million pounds (and is broadcast on BBC2). As if Trump hadn't enough to deal with patrons farting while he lined up shots, his opponent was busy making "improper" gestures toward him. (Trump did, eventually, succeed in making his shot, though obviously to no avail.)[BBC2]
