Golden State Warriors No Longer Allowed To Be In Love With The CoCo
The Golden State Warriors started a fun tradition this year, where they all sing along to O.T. Genasis's "CoCo" on the team plane after a win. Marreese Speights usually posts videos of these team-bonding moments to his Instagram page.
That looks like a lot of fun! Unfortunately, the Warriors will have to find a new song to use as their victory cigar:
If you've taken a moment to watch the video for "CoCo" that is embedded at the top of the page, you've realized that the song is about really, really loving cocaine. If anyone ever asks you, "Who loves cocaine the most?" just show them the "CoCo" video and be like, "That guy loves cocaine the most." So, yeah, that's why the Warriors can't sing that song anymore. Score one for old white sportswriters, I guess.
