"I'd Do It Again If I Had To": Bama Mom Speaks

We've heard Michael Connolly's version of the events that lead to Bama Mom leaping onto a group of Oklahoma fans and into our hearts, but now we finally have Bama Mom's side. Most importantly, she wants to apologize to Nick Saban.
Her name is Michelle Pritchett and she is a photographer from Sweet Water, Alabama. Pritchett says she and Oklahoma fans were going back and forth during the game and though initially it was all in good fun, they crossed a line when they called her a "stupid bitch" and tried to fight her son.
It's always tough with these sorts of things to assign blame. Clearly Connolly and his friends are no angels, and may have even been tremendous assholes to the entire Pritchett family (pictured above) and others seated nearby, but only one lady hurled herself down multiple rows of seating at a sporting event.

On the decision to hurl herself down multiple rows of seating at a sporting event and if that's something she would normally do:
"I apologize to the whole Alabama team, to Nick Saban," she said. "I apologize to the whole Alabama base. That's not the way I would normally handle things. But when he told my son to come down there, that wasn't going to happen."
On the events leading up to her decision to hurl herself down multiple rows of seating at a sporting event:
"It escalated. When they said something to my son, I told them to shut their mouths. They were telling my son to come down there and 'do something about it.' I said, 'no, that's not going to happen. This crap needs to stop.'"
On the behavior of the Sooners fans who did not make the decision to hurl themselves down multiple rows of seating at a sporting event:
"Even some of the people with them said 'y'all are getting too rowdy, this is getting out of control,'" she said.
On her sobriety level at the time she made the decision to hurl herself down multiple rows of seating at a sporting event:
And I wasn't intoxicated either. I want people to know that. I'd had a couple of drinks, but I was not intoxicated."
On whether she would rewrite history and make the decision to not hurl herself down multiple rows of seating at a sporting event:
"Would I take that back? No," she said. "He was out of control."
