LeBron Went To The Movies By Himself
Sometimes, after a rough game, you just need 90 minutes alone with Angelina Jolie.
On Saturday evening, not 48 hours after exiting Game 1 with cramps, and after a largely sleepless night spent using the bathroom over and over again thanks to about a gallon of intravenous saline, LeBron James decided to finally enjoy his weekend.
Without anyone else with him - no security, no friends, nobody, and that almost never happens - James quietly showed up at a theater a couple miles from where the Miami Heat were staying for a 5:40 p.m. showing Saturday of "Maleficent." And it's also why he and his regular massage therapist joined two strangers for a yoga class at 8 a.m. Sunday, where he focused on his breathing.
"I needed to get everything right," James said.
(Mario Chalmers presumably opted for The Fault In Our Stars.)
James was spotted at the Palladium theater, on the outskirts of San Antonio, looking cozy but too tall to be incognito. A couple photos showed up online, but he appears to have been mostly left alone.
