Lillard Buzzer-Beater Delivers Portland To First Series Win Since 2000
Damian Lillard hit a buzzer-beating three to give the Trail Blazers a 99-98 win over Houston, Portland's first series win in the NBA playoffs in 14 years.
And he did it within the same second of clock time as a Chandler Parsons lay-in that earned declarations of "miraculous" and "unbelievable" from ESPN's announcers. That Lillard was able to get open, and get off the shot, in 0.9 seconds would have, perhaps, been more worthy of those superlatives.
