Phil Kessel Mad
Phil Kessel is fed up with Toronto's hockey media and their poor treatment of Maple Leafs defenseman and captain Dion Phaneuf. Kessel defended his teammate in the locker room today, saying he was "disappointed" with the reception Phaneuf gets, "just in general."
Kessel wouldn't go into specifics about who had picked on Phaneuf, but this wash of a season has everyone frustrated:
It probably didn't help yesterday when TSN accidentally aired a tweet about Joffrey Lupul boning Phaneuf's wife, though.
