Photos Of College Football Player's Bloomin’ Onion Burns [GRAPHIC]
Earlier today we relayed the story of Kyle Smith, the college football player who suffered horrific burns after a cooking accident. Now we've received two photos of his burns, and warning: they are graphic.
Smith was heating up the oil to deep-fry a Bloomin' Onion when he spilled the oil on himself. He suffered second- and third-degree burns, the worst to his feet and lower legs. The Casper Star-Tribune, which originally had the story, forwards along two photos sent to them by Kyle's father. They were too graphic to put into print, but we'll publish them to prove that oil burns are no laughing matter.
The photos are below. Once again, if you'd like to contribute to Smith's medical expenses, get in touch with Reliant Federal Credit Union, which is hosting the fund.
