Sprinkler-Turned-Geyser Delays Minor League Baseball Game
This is one of those things that I feel like only ever happens at minor league baseball games. During today's game between the Class-A Fort Wayne TinCaps and the Great Lakes Loons, TinCaps first baseman Fernando Perez kicked a sprinkler head while pursuing a foul ball down the right-field line. Chaos ensued!
The game was delayed for 18 minutes while everyone tried to figure out what the hell to do. Put a bucket on it? Ignore it? I dunno, man, how are you supposed to stop a geyser?
