The Post apologizes to the band The Scorpions. Apparently their hit song came out long before Hurricane Katrina and was not in fact, mocking the victims.
The Post also apologized to the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, and, posthumously, to Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy, for suggesting that they had mocked Hurricane Katrina victims with the song "When the Levee Breaks."
However, the Post continues to stand by its reporter Idiot McStupidhead, who suggested that "The Lemon Song" is about lemons.
An Oct. 25 article in the Style section incorrectly said that a James Gang song referred to the scent of a middle-aged man. The song refers to a funk groove numbered 49."
New York Times: "A Nov. 12 article in the Metro edition of Local Living incorrectly said a spider asked Miss Muffet, "Hey, bitch, what's in the bowl?" The spider, in fact, had frightened Miss Muffet away. "
Regretfully, a Nov. 27 article in the District edition of Local Living correctly said the lyrics to the R. Kelly song "Sex Planet" mean exactly what you think they mean.
Now is just us both
I've got the control
In the middle of darkness
Girl relax and just flow
I'm about to twinkle and touch your soul
Once I am touring to your black hole (baby uhh)
Girl I promise this will be painless (painless)
We'll take a trip to planet Uranus (Uranus)
