Don't listen to Marshall, Mr. President. George W. Bush spent 2 hours a day working on his fastball, and he did great.

All this talk abut Presidents and sports, yet nobody mentions that Andrew Jackson invented the game Ultimate with a desiccated Indian scalp.

His lift and thrust — in other words, getting his body going — were very good, considering the fact that he had street clothes on and was wearing a coat.

Bull. This is lifted verbatim from Dash's review of Peter North's latest.

As far as I'm concerned, it's all about the Roosevelts, baby. They could both throw it 79, 89, or even 99.

Will the next post be by Obama on how you all can make your jump shot not look like it's thrown by someone with the arm strength of a nine year old girl?

In reply to All-Star Economics, And The NL's Futility
Even worse is the awful rule requiring each league to send a teamful of reps. Whaddya say we just take the best five or six NL players and round out their roster with bench-sitters from the AL East? Now that would make a heullva game.

@Phinstripes: I'm guessing that was intentional. Someone on his staff maybe said something to someone in case he did bounce one.

Although its probably delayed enough so that they could have shown it if it was a good throw.
