    @Shorty: The reaction seems to be getting more angry as the weeks go by. I think this is a tough thing to write. Waxing Off on the Black Table was about meant to be about relationships, so people who read it knew what they were going to get.

    I was once at a party at UVA that a now-pro football player went to. He yelled across the room "Hey, wanna fuck?" to a comely young sorority slut. He didn't say anything else to her before they went upstairs, arm in arm. Apparently they had done the deed before, but it wasn't like she was his girlfriend or anything. Nevertheless, she obliged.
