Deadspin should have a lax feature...If they spent more time looking at facts instead of coming up with jokes, they might see that lacrosse continues to grow despite what happens in other sports. Cornell has 14 different states on its roster. There's a reason its on TV a lot these days...

You know, that's probably because it's an Ivy League school, and they tend to get students from all over the country.

But your point about growing popularity is still valid, nonetheless.

I sincerely wish lacrosse was a more popular sport. Its fun to watch on TV, fun to play, easy to figure out the rules. I think its the "privileged, white people sport" perception that is holding it back.
