    sorry Mets fans. You've just got to sit there and take it. I know it sucks but Hamels is right. And not only is he right, he's the reigning World Series MVP, and the Mets have in fact shit the bed the past 2 seasons. So while it's a bit arrogant on his part to state on NY talk radio, there's really nothing you can come back with.

    Danny boy missed Hamels' story of how the Phillies clubhouse warned Victorino not to get all Jose Reyes after his playoff grand slam. This is why my 2008 NL East Champions t-shirt will never grow old, because it partly commemorates Mets Choke 2.0.

    @shea_guevara: So far, two years of talking about the Mets has ended in 1) two division titles and 2) a World Series. No sense is messing with mojo.


    Also, friggin' Francesca asked him point blank, "Did you think the Mets were choke artists?" What the hell was he supposed to say? "Honestly, I thought they finished strong and got some bad breaks both years."
