    I just lent my car to my buddy. After 5 minutes, he came back into the house and said, "Ummm, I can't figure out how to turn it on."


    After I started up the car for him, I watched him lurch off, dragging the clutch the whole way.


    This will be an anxiety-filled 30 minutes until he returns.

    We're up in the mountains and I've got friends from NYC, SF and ATL visiting. I'd like for them to have a good ski experience, but today was a lousy start.


    Vail's expecting about 6" tonight though, so we'll see.

    @JayCutlersInsulin: I think what gets lost is the big mainstream acts of at least the first half of the 90's made an attempt at 'mattering.' That's something that I don't see as much this decade. It's mostly a bunch of careerists managing their brands.
