I once was at very high-priced Toronto steakhouse to celebrate a buddy's acceptance into an MBA program. Seated next to us was a group from the Argos, led by then-GM Mike Clemons. He was trying to sign both Mike McMahon and Freddie Mitchell, who were also at the table.
I tried not to listen in too intently to the conversation, as my level of interest in the CFL is as high as my interest in contracting Type 2 diabetes, but what I do recall is Mitchell loudly saying to Clemons, "You got this, right?", referring to the tab for dinner. Clemons nodded his head, and Freddie let out a large sigh of relief. Freddie Mitchell is cheap.
/Not much of a story, but meh.
