    And you know, we saw the weirdest thing last night: one of those d-bags (he was sort of a step-d-bag) did get thrown out. It was rather jarring, because the staff there is so congenial and the crowd almost always also. There was no sign of why, but there was a definite scuffle at the door and some yelling. It was kind of like seeing your parents have sex.

    I know this isn't "The Learning Curve," but here's a little hint: if an overwhelming majority of your audience is unfamiliar with your parody source, then said parody tends to make you look like an asshole to both those who get it AND those who don't.

    Considering that Williams has been accused of reckless manslaughter, and has displayed other violent behaviors in the past (see his Wikipedia page) the bartender's unease was, I think, understandable. But it's not like he told Williams he wasn't welcome there; he even tried to ensure that Williams didn't drive home drunk. What should the bartender have done? How could he have been more welcoming? I don't get it.
