Perhaps wearing his son's jersey at this morning's farewell rally at the Phoenix airport was a bad idea. You know, if you want to be perceived as objective and all.

"Anquan Bolden" [sic] was out with a hamstring industry.

Well, I give him props for an innovative idea in this bad economy...

It would be cooler if Drew Brees' mom was a reporter for the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, and the Saints were in the Super Bowl

The complete asshat that is the Quarterback for the New Orleans Saints is a baby killing seal clubber who contracted AIDS from an Orangutan.

This can't hold a candle to the interview Kurt Warner's dad gave to Moses.

Fitzgerald Sr.'s column in the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, a weekly African-American newspaper

Much like Deleted Scenes, Fitzgerald Sr.'s columns should be treated as [sic]ed.

If the Cardinals lose, Fitzgerald Sr.'s line of questioning for Larry will begin with, "You're lower than a bastard. You have none of me in you. You're just a bastard from a basket. Thoughts?"

Look, it is not like his son is Dwayne Jarrett, Reggie Bush, or Matt Leinart. I mean, at least he can play.

Since 2003, the elder Fitzgerald has written about his son at least 23 times.

But of the 100 pieces he's written about the Vikings he only mentioned that Larry used to be a ball boy for them in 97 of them.

Slate writer Josh Levin dutifully points out that building up Fitzgerald Sr., a veteran sports reporter for the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, as anything more than a cheerleader with a pen is a little ridiculous.

A cheerleader with a pen is far less dangerous than a cheerleader with a magic marker.
