    @Juancho: Having lived in both cities, I can vouch for the fact it's worse in Cleveland. Detroit, at least, has had victory parades for teams shown on color televisions.

    Detroiters, I've found, have a sense of humor about the Lions, whereas Browns fans have little to none about the Browns.

    @cromartie: very true. I'm dating a Detroit girl, and there was bemused resignation when talking about the Tigers' collapse this September with her dad and brother.
