    @formerly Chief Wahoo: Nonsense. The guy hits less than his weight against left handers, and disappeared last season. Glad to see him go in exchange for a load of pitching arms. Now, if they could just find a sucker to take Inge, the master of the check swing strikeout, the Tigers might really be on to something.

    @cromartie: Uh, Inge is huge on defense, was an All Star last season, and hit decently despite playing through an injury for most of the year.

    @Clarence Rosario: Right. How'd he do after the all star break? He's a career .230 hitter at a position where you need power, average, or both. Save the good with the glove/bad with the bat for Shortstop or Catcher.

    He's an overpaid liability who is .040 worse than the average player at his position. Blow him out the door while another GM who thinks like you will take his overvalued contract off the Tigers hands.

    The same could be said of Shanmugalingam Sivashankar, but Sri Lankan army rocket launchers, while antiquated, are quite accurate.

    Yankees win first World Series in 10 years after committing nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars to players who will be past their primes when the real money kicks in.

    I'd say he's happy for the Yankees like I'm happy for my ex-girlfriend getting married. (She hasn't yet seen her husband's genital herpes outbreaks)
