    I'm not sure if this has been touched on at Deadspin, but the Electoral Map that ESPN uses for polls could only be more useless if they tallied up the votes as if "SportsNation" was voting for President. Who's looking at that thing and thinking, "WOW! A majority of Maine-iacs (don't know what to call people from Maine) think Roger Clemens hurt his cause by the interview! How interesting!"


    Better yet, who's coming up with these ideas? Some clown was sitting at his/her desk watching election coverage and saying, "That's it! People are interested in the election because of the voting structure and the blue and red map. Forget that it's important and directly affects our lives, the public wouldn't care unless those graphics were there."


    Die.
