    If you're reading this with and own an Ed Hardy shirt, a trucker cap that's never been worn straight on your head, and have a surfboard that's gathering dust in the corner of your piss-soaked Pacific Beach hovel, do the entire region a favor and apply for welfare back in New Jersey.

    If they took your advice, the entire city of San Diego would look like a scene from On The Beach.

    Why do natives of a city have a hard time accepting that transplants aren't just going to have decades of allegiance to their hometown sports teams erased when their job moves them to another city?!?! Do I have to switch every time I have to move?

    @HurtsSoGood: I know it is Parris. The pun was on "We'll Always Have Paris". Also, Spud's original joke was about marines and I made a naval joke. So, yes, there are all sorts of holes in my comment.

    I was at the Giants-Padres game when Bonds tied Hank Aaron for HR's.

    After the crowd settled down from the HR I heard a Padres fan debate a Giants fan that in that year (2007) Khalil Greene was more valuable than Bonds, due to HIS STELLAR DEFENSE.

    I also heard a guy ask why Tony Gwynn wasn't playing that night.

    Weirdest game I've ever been to.
