    Final game of the Little League season. Bottom of the last, we're in the field and up by one run. If we win, we make the playoffs, if we lose, the season ends.


    2 outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd.


    A ball is hit towards Brett at 2nd base. He is only playing because the league requires that every player gets at least 3-innings. Brett is less coordinated than Stephen Hawking.


    Defying all expectations, Brett actually fields the ball cleanly! Victory is ours! All that's left to punch our playoff ticket is a short flip to 1st base for the final out.


    And there's Brett, awkwardly winging the ball towards home fucking plate.


    The ball flies over the catcher, and both runners score, ending our season.


    The other team rejoices. I cry. Brett picks a dandelion.

    There was one point of the MLB Network coverage of this where one of the guys started wearing Wolverine claws, and this was 2 hours after they decided Luis Castillo's glove was actually a frying pan.
